Frequently Asked Questions
-
That’s often where our work begins. We look beyond the numbers to understand the whole picture—how you feel, what’s changed, and what your body may need to feel well again.
-
I work primarily with women who want to feel better now and build better health for the future. We often work on hormones, metabolic and weight health, energy, sleep, stress, nutrition, body composition, cardiovascular health & prevention, and healthy aging. The goal isn’t just better numbers—it’s more energy, more ease, and more capacity to enjoy your life.
-
Both. I’m a physician, and I use evidence-based medicine alongside nutrition, lifestyle, and integrative approaches. When medication is the right tool, I prescribe it. Samsara is not a pain-management or controlled-substance-focused practice.
-
Samsara Medicine is a self-pay practice. Insurance may still be used for prescriptions, labs, imaging, and other outside services, depending on your plan.

No. Some patients need focused guidance; others want an ongoing relationship with a physician who really knows them. We can decide together what fits.
-
I think of Samsara as relational medicine. It’s having a physician who knows you, understands your health in context, and is there to help you navigate what comes next. It’s depth and continuity—not 24/7 concierge access.
-
HSA and FSA funds may generally be used for eligible medical services. Samsara Medicine does not provide superbills or submit claims to insurance for reimbursement.
